Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin’s longstanding partnership with the Luke Homan Foundation has helped create an avenue to give back to several Midwestern communities.
This past February, the Luke Homan Foundation donated $10,000 to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation during Feb. 17’s hockey game at the United Centera private ceremony that was attended by Breakthru Beverage Co-Chairman Rocky Wirtz, Nate Phippen - Breakthru WI VP of Sales, Mark Cirillo - Breakthru WI Director of Craft Beer, as well as Patti and Jerry Homan..
Patti Homan, a former Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin district manager, and her husband GerryJerry, lost their son, Luke, in 2006 and have since started a foundation in his memory. Their goal is to support the community as well as help fund some of Luke’s favorite charities.
The foundation’s yearly Golf Event fundraiser exceeded $100,000 in 2017 and it’s projected to break the $1 million total mark in 2018, a goal it has been striving for over the last 12 years.
